Have you pictured a time when you or your loved one are in hospital, with several concurrent diagnoses, and asked to make pivotal decisions regarding medical or surgical treatment? You may be seeing one or several treating or consulting clinicians, however you would really like your doctors to weigh up the pros and cons. Unfortunately medical care can be quite fragmented, with ‘single-organ specialists’ expressing their view, without considering anothers.

This is where we come in! As ‘Generalists’, we can provide you with a wholistic view about your care, and guide you in navigating complex medical decision-making whilst you are admitted in hospital. All we require is a summary letter of your progress in-hospital, recent pathology and imaging. If requested, we would be happy to speak with your treating clinician(s) to help you make informed decisions regarding your care.

Our services are based on a $600/hour rate. An Initial consultation is a minimum of 30 minutes, where we will review your documentation, followed by a 15-minute discussion of our thoughts. Our services are inclusive of a comprehensive letter that summarises each consultation. Any additional requests for consultation/advice/communication will be charged accordingly, pro-rata’d to the nearest 15 minutes.
